It’s common for BMW vehicles to see some track usage at some point in their life, certainly for the sportier models, and for owners of manual transmission vehicles, the assurance of precise gear-shifting means more attention can be paid to the track ahead rather than worrying about awkward missed shifts and embarrassing in-car footage for your socials. BMW‘s F-Series includes some of those very vehicles, including the popular M-Lite models and this week we bring you a new bush and bracket combination to replace the original rubber shifter bush, revitalising shift performance for models from 11/2014 on, F2x 1-Series & 2-Series F3x 3-Series & 4-Series F87 M2 F80 M3 F82/F83 M4 PFF5-1932 Shifter Arm Rear Bush & Bracket – Road is made from in-house CNC-machined 6082-T6 grade aluminium and anodised black to a premium finish. It is paired with a Yellow 70A durometer bush, reducing deflection over the OE rubber bush by over 50% but with minimal NVH transfer.
